Service Manager – Bedford, VA
We are seeking to hire a service manager to oversee and manage the service department operations.
Key duties and responsibilities include: provide leadership and direction to shop and road mechanics, providing customer quotes on forklift sales, rentals, and tires, assisting with dispatching mechanics and truck drivers, proactively responding to customer concerns, and working closely with the parts manager on resolving customer issues, conduct onsite customer site visits as needed, and opening and closing the service department.
The ideal candidate will possess an associate’s degree of equivalent relevant work experience, 8+ years of general mechanical experience, 5+ years of forklift mechanical experience, Exceptional customer service skills, Exceptional verbal & written communication skills, Ability to handle multiple tasks and bring about closure, Working knowledge of MS Office products.
